About Miniature Custom Manufacturing

2007-2008  

Miniature Custom Manufacturing (MCM) is a plastic injection molding company that started in a very small pole barn in Richland, Michigan.  At that time there was just one job, one 55 Ton Arburg Allrounder 320C Golden injection molding machine and one employee managing the day to day operations of this facility.

2008-2012 

From the pole barn we moved to Galesburg, Michigan into a larger 2,000 sq. ft. facility. We then purchased two
additional 55 Ton Arburg Allrounder 320C Golden injection molding machines. One year later we doubled the size of our facility to 4,000 sq. ft. Then we purchased three more injection molding machines, one 38 Ton Arburg, one 110 Ton Arburg and one 77 Ton 2-Shot Arburg.

2012-2015  

Due to rapid growth of our company we ran out of space very quickly. We were fortunate to move once again to a new location. We then moved to Vicksburg, Michigan into a 10,000 sq. ft. facility. Which was quickly filled with the purchase of more injection molding machines and other equipment needed. In the Spring of 2015 we added 15,000 sq. ft. to our facility, increasing our total size to a 25,000 sq. ft. facility.

2015-2016  

We were pleased to learn with our quick growth we needed to expand again.  In November of 2016 we purchased another 20,000 sq. ft. facility which is located right next door to our existing facility.  Our new facility has become Miniature Custom Mfg. Corporate Offices with some manufacturing capabilities.  Our previous facility has now become Miniature Custom Manufacturing.   We now have a combined total of 45,000 sq. ft. with both facilities, and we look forward to more growth in the near future.  We now have in the Manufacturing facility 14 injection molding machines with additional machines to be purchased in the near future.
